At Atomis we believe that custom work starts with listening. Every project has its own context, users and architectural principles. That is why we see custom work not as an exception, but as a natural part of what we do.
From brief to solution
Custom work starts with understanding the question behind the question. What is the function of the space? What atmosphere should be created? What technical preconditions are there? Our designers and engineers work closely with architects, lighting designers and end users to arrive at a solution that is right in every respect.
This can range from small adjustments in size, light colour or mounting to entirely new luminaires developed specifically for a project. In all cases, the balance between aesthetics, engineering and functionality is central.
Design and production under one roof
Because design and production take place in the Netherlands, we can realise custom work efficiently. Prototypes are developed and tested quickly, after which any optimisations can be implemented directly. This process reduces risk and increases the certainty that the end result matches expectations.

Krinkels head office — custom work in the ceiling
For the new Krinkels head office in Breda, one principle was central: fully merging engineering and architecture.
Atomis supplied custom Fusion-K linear LED luminaires, integrated into the Integra climate ceilings. The lighting is not a separate element but a functional part of the ceiling concept — with optimal light quality and comfort.
