Moco Museum Amsterdam

The Moco Museum Amsterdam is an independent museum with a distinctive collection of modern, contemporary and street art. Works by artists such as Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Banksy and Andy Warhol make the museum a dynamic place where art, culture and social themes come together.

For this project, on behalf of and in collaboration with 50LUX Lichtontwerp & advies, we were able to supply our Zumo 60 luminaires. These spots are fitted with an integrated zoom lens, with which the beam width can easily be adjusted. This makes the luminaires very flexible to use and ideal for exhibitions with diverse art forms and scales.

In an environment where colour, contrast and expression are central, precise light is essential. With the Zumo 60, the right focus can be placed on each artwork, so that details, textures and compositions are shown to their best advantage, without dominating the space.

The result is a powerful but controlled light layer that reinforces the art and contributes to the intense experience for which the Moco Museum is known. A flexible and future-proof solution that moves with changing exhibitions.

We thank 50LUX Lichtontwerp & advies for the pleasant collaboration on this fine project.
