Teylers Museum, Haarlem

We were proud to provide the lighting for the Teylers Museum, including the museum shop and the special Pieter Teylers Huis. A project in which history, aesthetics and modern technology come together in a careful way.

Teylers Museum, Haarlem

For this unique environment, Zumo luminaires with Casambi control were chosen. These luminaires combine a refined and understated design with advanced lighting technology. Exactly what is needed in a monumental setting where the light must reinforce the space and the objects, without drawing attention to itself.

The Zumo luminaires offer high light quality and great flexibility in control. Thanks to Casambi, the light can be precisely tuned to different functions and moments, from accent lighting in the museum shop to atmospheric and carefully dosed light in the historic residence.

At the same time, the chosen solutions contribute to sustainable and energy-efficient lighting, in line with contemporary requirements, without compromising the appearance and value of the heritage.

The result is a subtle, high-quality light experience that supports and reinforces the collection and the architecture. A balance between history and innovation, in which light plays a connecting role.

We thank the Teylers Museum and Joost de Beij for the trust and the pleasant collaboration. We look forward to working together on special and inspiring projects in the future too.
